Then the earl’s new bride, Elena, is found poisoned to death the morning after her marriage. With two deaths and a rumour mill running hot, suspicion spreads across Locharran, and even reaches Ally herself. Determined to clear her name, she follows the trail to poison found at the home of a suspect, and realises the danger is close. With a killer still at large, she must unravel the clues before the loch claims someone else.
