Cancellations Policy

At Paper Thistle, we work hard to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible so that your books and products reach you without delay. Because of this, once an order has been placed, it usually enters our fulfilment process immediately.


Can I Cancel My Order?

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cancellations once an order has been placed.

  • This is because, in most cases, your order will already be processed, packed, or dispatched by the time a cancellation request reaches us.


Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that sometimes life brings unforeseen challenges. For this reason, we will consider cancellations only in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • A serious medical decline affecting the customer or their close family.

  • A bereavement.

In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@paperthistle.co.uk, and we will handle your request with compassion and care.


Amending an Order

  • Once an order has been placed, it cannot be amended (e.g., changing delivery address, swapping items, or adding to the order).

  • If you forgot an item, you will need to place a new order.

  • If you ordered something by mistake, you are welcome to request a return once the item arrives, following our Returns Policy.


Plus Membership Cancellations

Paper Thistle Plus Membership is a subscription-based service that provides exclusive benefits such as discounted pricing, reward points, and free delivery. By subscribing, you agree to the following cancellation terms:

  • Minimum Term: Plus Membership is contracted for an initial period of three (3) months from the start of your free trial or first payment date. Cancellations cannot be made during this period.

  • Ongoing Billing: After the initial term, your membership will automatically renew on a monthly basis at £7.99 per month unless cancelled in accordance with this policy.

  • Cancellation Notice: You may cancel your membership at any time after the initial three-month period by providing at least 14 days’ notice before your next billing date. If notice is received later than this, the following month’s payment will still be processed, and cancellation will take effect thereafter.

  • Non-Refundable Fees: Membership fees already paid (including the current billing cycle) are non-refundable, except where required by law.

  • How to Cancel: Cancellations can be managed through your Plus Membership dashboard or by contacting our customer service team at hello@paperthistle.co.uk.

When a Plus Membership is cancelled, your member pricing, reward points earning, and free delivery benefits will remain active until the end of the current billing period. After this time, your account will revert to a standard customer account, and any unused membership benefits will no longer be accessible.
