Paper Thistle Plus Membership Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your subscription to the Paper Thistle Plus Membership (“Membership”, “Plus Membership”, “Paper Thistle Plus”) provided by Paper Thistle (“we”, “our”, “us”). By purchasing or renewing a Plus Membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Overview

Paper Thistle Plus is a subscription-based service offering exclusive member benefits, discounts, and early access to new releases. Memberships are personal to the subscriber and cannot be transferred, resold, or shared.

2. Subscription Fee

  • The Plus Membership is charged at £7.99 per month, inclusive of VAT.

  • Fees are charged automatically to your chosen payment method on the same date each billing period.

  • All fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed, including in cases of early cancellation or non-use of benefits.

3. Minimum Term

  • Your Membership is contracted for a minimum initial term of 3 months (90 days) from the start date.

  • Cancellations cannot be made during this initial period.

  • After the initial term, your Membership automatically renews on a rolling monthly basis unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms.

4. Renewal and Cancellations

  • Membership renewals are processed automatically every month on your billing date.

  • You may cancel your Membership after the initial 3-month term.

  • Cancellations must be submitted at least 14 days prior to your next scheduled payment to prevent the renewal charge from being processed.

  • Failure to cancel within this window will result in your Membership rolling over for the next billing period.

  • Upon cancellation, Membership benefits remain active until the end of the current paid period.

5. Non-Refundable Payments

All Membership fees are strictly non-refundable. No refunds or partial credits will be issued for unused time, early cancellation, or failure to access benefits. Exceptions may only be made at our sole discretion in cases of demonstrable error or compassionate circumstances.

6. Member Benefits

As a Plus Member, you gain access to a range of benefits and privileges which may include:

  • Exclusive member-only pricing on selected products.

  • Priority access to new releases and sales events.

  • Free or discounted delivery offers where applicable.

  • Bonus reward points or early access to promotions.

We reserve the right to modify, enhance, or remove specific benefits from the Membership programme at any time. Any material changes will be notified via email or on our website.

7. Account Management

  • Members must maintain accurate billing and contact information in their Paper Thistle account dashboard.

  • If a payment fails, we may temporarily suspend access until payment is successfully completed.

  • Continued non-payment may result in cancellation of your Membership without further notice.

8. Termination by Paper Thistle

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your Membership at any time if you breach these Terms, misuse Membership benefits, or engage in fraudulent activity. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

9. Changes to Terms or Pricing

We may update the Membership pricing or Terms from time to time. Any change will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and you will be notified at least 30 days in advance via email. Continued use of the Membership after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Data Protection

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Membership billing information is handled securely through our payment provider, and we do not store full payment details on our servers.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
