Sarah Jane Douglas is a writer, award winning artist (Blue Peter badges count, right?) and former teacher. She has two grown up sons, and lives with her partner, Paul, in an old fishing village in the Scottish Highlands. If she's not working she's walking; she's climbed all 282 Munros and is currently summit camping her way round all the Corbetts. For Sarah, walking is more than just her coping mechanism for life, it has become part of who she is.
