Gift Card Policy

Paper Thistle (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides digital e-gift cards for online purchases under the following terms and conditions.

1. Overview

Paper Thistle e-gift cards make thoughtful and flexible gifts. By purchasing or using a Paper Thistle gift card, you agree to this Gift Card Policy, which outlines the terms of issue, redemption, and expiry.

2. Issuance & Use

  • Gift cards are issued by Paper Thistle, a business registered in Scotland.

  • All gift cards are denominated in GBP (£).

  • E-gift cards are delivered digitally by email only.

  • Gift cards can be used to purchase any available product at paperthistle.co.uk but cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.

3. Redemption

  • To redeem, enter the gift card code during checkout in the “Gift Card” or “Voucher” field.

  • If the order total exceeds the card balance, the remainder can be paid using another payment method.

  • If the total is less than the card balance, the remaining amount will stay on the card for future use until expiry.

  • Gift cards can only be redeemed online and have no in-store functionality.

4. Expiry & Validity

  • Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • Once expired, any remaining balance is void and cannot be reissued or refunded.

  • Gift cards have no cash value, are non-redeemable for cash, and cannot be exchanged or resold.

5. Refunds & Returns

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Items purchased with a gift card can be returned under our standard returns policy.

  • Refunds for purchases made with a gift card will be credited back to the same gift card code.

6. Lost, Stolen, or Not Working Cards

  • Please treat your gift card like cash. Keep your email confirmation safe.

  • Paper Thistle is not responsible for lost, deleted, or stolen codes.

  • If a card is not working, check your account dashboard for balance details, confirm the code is correct, or contact us for assistance.

7. Governing Law

This policy and all Paper Thistle gift card transactions are governed by Scottish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
