Aimée MacDonald is an Edinburgh-based writer of novels, short stories, and poetry, and a graduate of the Faber Academy. Her debut novel, The Last Witch on the Knock, draws on Scottish folklore and the true story of one of the last women killed for witchcraft in the Highlands. Blending literary horror with themes of identity, trauma, and power, her work has been praised for its visceral imagery and distinctive voice.
