Dee MacDonald grew up on an isolated farm in the Scottish Highlands. An only child, she developed a love of storytelling from an early age, encouraged by her mother to write and illustrate her own “wee stories” and turn them into handmade books. That early passion for storytelling would go on to shape her successful writing career.
