Robin Robertson is an award-winning Scottish poet, known for his collections of poetry and his 2018 novel-in-verse, The Long Take. Born in Scone, Perthshire, he was raised on the northeast coast of Scotland and now lives in London. His poetry awards include the Petrarca-Preis, the E.M. Forster Award, and all three Forward Prizes, and his work often explores themes of mortality, carnality, and the natural world, sometimes using archaic or Scots words.
