Genevieve Gornichec was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. She earned a BA in History from The Ohio State University and is currently pursuing an MA in Viking and Medieval Norse Studies at the University of Iceland. Her debut novel, The Witch’s Heart, was released in 2021 and has been translated into over a dozen languages. Her sophomore novel, The Weaver and the Witch Queen, followed in 2023. She lives in Reykjavík.
