Hania Allen is a British crime novelist born in Liverpool to Polish parents. She earned a doctorate in physics at the University of St Andrews and worked in education and information management before becoming a full-time writer. Allen lives in a fishing village in Fife, Scotland, and is best known for her Dania Gorska and Von Valenti mystery series.
