Rebecca Stott, born in Cambridge in 1964 and raised in a Plymouth Brethren community in Brighton, studied English and Art History at York University before completing her MA and PhD while raising her son, Jacob. Her debut novel Ghostwalk (Weidenfeld & Nicolson/Spiegel & Grau) has been translated into twelve languages.
